DESCRIPTION

If you want to appreciate all the grandeur and the special atmosphere of the desert, you have to go deep into the heart of the dunes far far far... at the end of the world! And we take care of everything at Légendes Berbères, from the organization of transport to the night at the bivouac. All you have to do is relax and let yourself be transported by the wild landscapes of extreme beauty.

 

This excursion will take you in a 4x4 for 4 hours on the old trading route of Timbuktu and through the most beautiful dunes of the Sahara. You will certainly have the opportunity to come across various wild animals,a mischievous little fennec fox, also known as a sand fox, for example, or a female dromedary giving birth to her young, or even a beautiful gazelle on the run and many other inhabitants adapted to their natural environment.

 

You will finally arrive on the most imposing dune massif of Morocco, Erg Chegaga. And it is from the top of these colossi of sand that you will take the full measure of this singular universe which will envelop you in calm and serenity... a moment conducive to meditation. The setting sun will then gently caress their generous curves in a soft orange light to proudly tint them with their beautiful ocher color. The show is just as striking and magical every evening... There is no doubt that you will not remain indifferent!

PROGRAM

D1:

  • Reception on site in Tagounite in the morning between 10 and 11:00

  • ​ Track for 4 hours in the desert to reach theErg Chegaga

  • Break at the sacred oasis ofOum-Lââlag and picnic

  • Arrival in the afternoon on Erg Chegaga

  • Installation on the nomadic camp with standard comfort (2 to 6 people/private tent)

  • 1-hour camel ride to discover the site (departure of your choice at the end of the afternoon or in the morning before returning)

  • Walk on the dunes to admire the sunset

  • Traditional dinner followed by a musical ritual Amazigh

  • Night in a Berber tent

D2:​

  • Breakfast and return to Tagounite by 4x4 at the end of the morning
